Pörröreunus
Ja välipalaksi pieni esimerkki siitä miten pienellä värin lisäämisellä saa vaatekappaleesta huomattavasti kivemman:
Virkkasin siis tuollaisesta efektilangasta reunuksiin kerroksen. Pörröistä ja värikästä :)

Rinoa
Särkänniemessä oli sunnuntaina ennätysyritys, jossa tavoitteena oli rikkoa ennätys pelihahmoiksi pukeutuneiden ihmisten määrässä.
Flunssa-aallon takia ei sitten päästy osallistumaan, mutta tässä joka tapauksessa asu jonka kyseistä tapahtumaa varten tein:
Ja kyseessähän on siis Rinoa (Final Fantasy VIII).
Tuossa siis itsetehtyä viitta, ranteenlämmittimet ja tuo vihreä hame. Musta toppi ja shortsit löytyi jo omasta takaa.
Sävyt ei aivan täsmää, kankaat ei ole ihan oikeaa laatua ja tuosta puuttuis vielä toiseen käsivarteen tuleva musta nauha, kaulakoru ja kengät. Plus tietty hiusten värjäys.
Mutta ihan hyvä silti siihen nähden kuinka nopealla tahdilla tuo tuli tehtyä.

There was an attempt to break the Guinness record of most people dressed as video game characters today at Särkänniemi amusement park.
Due to flu we never made it there but here's the outfit I had made for the event.
As you may recognize it's meant to be Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII.
The coat, the wristwarmers and the green skirt are made by me, the top and the shorts we already had.
The colors aren't quite perfect, the fabric isn't exactly ideal and it's still missing a black cloth from the left arm, the correct necklace, the shoes and correct hair color.
But I'm still rather satisfied with the result considering how fast I had to make it.
